Baby scrunch face Perinatal Psychology and Wellness Studio

Here for you, mum.

Supporting both expecting and new mums in their journey through parenthood, through online and telephone appointments.

The perinatal period - from planning a pregnancy through pregnancy and the first year after birth - is a time of significant emotional, psychological, and identity change for many women. While it can be joyful, it can also bring challenges such as anxiety, low mood, overwhelm, changes in relationships, and adjustments to a new sense of self as a mother.

We’re here for you - to offer a warm and supportive space where mothers can talk openly about their experiences, feel heard without judgment, and receive gentle guidance through this transition. Caring for a mother’s emotional wellbeing during this time not only helps her feel more confident and supported, but also nurtures the bond with her baby and the wellbeing of the whole family. We welcome you to have baby present or bring a support person to your sessions.

Perinatal Psychology & Wellness Studio is currently offering video telehealth and telephone appointments only. Please complete the ‘New Client Form’ to join the waitlist.

  • Hi, I’m Hayley, a psychologist with a passion for supporting women during the perinatal period—from planning a pregnancy through the first year after birth. As a mother of two myself, I bring both professional knowledge and lived experience to my work, which helps me deeply understand the emotional changes and challenges that can arise during this time.

I am passionate about creating a warm, compassionate space where women can feel heard, supported, and understood. My goal is to help you navigate the transition into motherhood with greater confidence, care for your mental wellbeing, and feel less alone in your experience.

  • My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your individual needs. I primarily draw on evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Together, we work to better understand your experiences, develop practical strategies, and support you in moving toward the kind of mother—and person—you want to be, even during the challenges of the perinatal period.

  • We work with women during the perinatal period—from family planning and trying to conceive, through pregnancy, and throughout the first year after birth. This stage of life can bring many emotional changes, challenges, and adjustments. We support women experiencing concerns such as prenatal anxiety, postnatal anxiety, prenatal depression, postnatal depression, low mood, birth-related worries, identity changes, relationship challenges, and the transition into motherhood, providing a safe and compassionate space to talk and feel supported.
